The Lefkara Handicraft Centre was founded with the objective to preserve, develop and continue the local tradition in embroidery and silversmith. To this end, it trains young people and encourages them to engage with these traditional crafts. Among the activities of the Centre is offering technical assistance, guidance and cooperation to the craftsmen, training those involved with tradition and participating in exhibitions and other cultural events held both in Cyprus and abroad. Moreover, it contributes in highlighting and promoting the cultural products of the Municipality of Lefkara.
